An internet acquaintance, Charles
Watkins, sent me a glass-mounted Kodachrome slide copyrighted 1937-1938
by Thomas "Tibby" Wainright of Montreal Canada. This date was before
the selective re-exposure process was developed. A complicated
dye-bleach process was used involving three separate processing
machines. There are very few slides remaining from that era.
The corrected slide is my best attempt to
correct the color balance and contrast. The appearance of the original
slide is open to speculation.
